In Tilaran you will find a gas station, several banks, restaurants, shops and internet cafes as well as a bus station from where buses depart daily to San Jose, Canas, Arenal, Fortuna and Monteverde.

We are a 3 hour drive from the San Jose International Airport. Take the Pan American Highway(A1) in the direction of Canas. When you reach Canas turn right after the bullring and follow the road signs to Tilaran. In Tilaran follow the road to Arenal/Fortuna and after about 7 minutes, take a right where the road branches off and then follow the road signs to Monte Terras B&B.

If you are coming from Arenal/Fortuna just follow the road around the lake to Tilaran and follow the road signs to Monte Terras B&B and Cabinas.
